RECORD: VG

NOTES: UK gatefold cover. Not the first pressing, but still a 1970's pressing. Original Made in England inner sleeve. Cover in beautiful shape. I was about to give the record a visual VG+ but I played it to make sure, and there are some clicks and light pops in spots, so dropping the grade. Still an enjoyable listen, and a deep cleaning may improve matters.

GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.

I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
