PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY.

As a bonus I am including a crude BLACK & WHITE PHOTOCOPY of the original "Lover Her Madly" Hype Sticker.

For a 50+ year old LP, this is a fairly decent copy.

Up for sale is one(1) THE DOORS - L.A. Woman 1st Pressing LP with Cellophane WIndow & Embossed Cover from 1971 on the Elektra Records  (# EKS-75011). There is No Barcode. Has the Artisan symbol etched in the deadwax signaling a high quality mastering.

This is the very rare ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING with Rounded Corners, EMBOSSED COVER, SEE THROUGH CELLOPHANE WINDOW WITH THE YELLOW INNER SLEEVE WITH THE WOMAN BEING CRUCIFIED ON THE TELEPHONE POLE and 15 COLUMBUS DRIVE ADDRESS on the BUTTERFLY ELEKTRA LABEL.

YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THESE ATTRIBUTES TO HAVE A TRUE FIRST PRESSING.

I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS GREAT!

The vinyl is in good condition, but has some visual surface marks that will cause surface noise and pops or clicks along the way typical with a Good grading. Even with a GOOD grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.

PLAY TESTED! Plays all the way through without skipping, but you WILL hear surface noise.

Nice fairly clean Elektra Butterfly labels with some spindle marks. The labels are in Good condition.

The custom inner sleeve is in Good condition but has a large sized split seam with a small tear at the bottom, a small to medium split on one side, and a small split on the other side.  The is a small split seam on both sides stemming from the top opening downward. Also has some ring wear, small tears and crumples all of which are typical with age. The LP is now being housed in a plain white inner sleeve.

The cover is in Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to dings, scrapes, ring wear, and creases all of which are typical with this very delicate cover. There is some fraying around the window and the side opening. There are no split seams, punch holes, cut outs, clips, stamps, writing on it etc.

This is a very delicate cover and typically does not age well, but this one is in pretty good shape.

I obtained this LP in the mid 1970s. It was played many times back in the day. Not played in over 30 years.

I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
