This is Connecticut vocal group The Five Satins singing "In The Still Of The Night" on Ember 1005 from May of 1956 (delta numbers 9983 and 9985 etched in the dead wax). This # 24 chart record looks VG+ with moderate surface markings and some letter fading on the labels but plays in NM condition. There are two picture sleeves. The blue picture sleeve is a custom sleeve made in Canada or England and is in MINT condition. This sleeve is a one-off sleeve that was not mass produced. The cream colored sleeve is a custom sleeve that was available over the internet during the 90's. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeves. Price guides suggest a valuation of $60 for a NM copy. Due to the conditions described herein you can own this copy for half of that value and receive these beautiful picture sleeves of Fred Parris and The Five Satins.
