Jacket is VG+ with a nice, semi-glossy front laminate,
with only a few tiny bits of shelf-wear and some small dings
in the upper right corner, and some tiny dings / wear / impression
marks in front of Gil's nose on the front cover photo,
see our photos.
The spine and seams are intact (NO seam-splitting).
Top seam has almost no wear at all, except for the corners.
Spine and bottom edge have minor wear mainly near the corners.
The corner points are worn a bit.
No signs of water damage on either side, but the environment may have been humid, so the rear slick is starting to unglue
at the edges, and is, of course, yellowing at the edges too.
The upper right, top edge of the rear slick with the detailed liner notes hasa small rip that does not affect the text
or detailed liner notes by Barry Ulanov,
Not bad for an almost 70 year old original pressing!
The dead-wax on both sides has the stamped
Plastylite (pressing plant) "ear" logo, and
etched matrix numbers that are just longer versions of the catalog number.
9 and M are also etched "sideways" in the
dead-wax on both sides.
NO stickers, NO stains, NO corner cutting or notch or drill hole.

A1: Timepiece: Light surface crackley hiss only audible
at beginning / intro and during a quiet portion.
No loud clicks or pops.

A2: Lover Man: Light to moderate surface crackly hiss
audible during the entire tune, which is "mellow",
and has a lot of "space".
No loud clicks or pops, BUT there are a few sets
(or "series") of audible clicks halfway through the tune.

A3: Gingersnap: light to moderate surface crackley hiss
audible during the entire tune. No loud clicks or pops.

B1: A Lion Lives Here: light to moderate surface crackley hiss
audible during the entire tune. No loud clicks or pops.

B2: Spellbound: light to moderate surface crackley hiss
audible during the entire tune. Some audible clicks
starting halfway through the song.

B3: Transition: light to moderate surface crackley hiss
audible during most of the tune, but it's not really noticeable
from the beginning of the drum solo till the end of the tune.
