The record should show no obvious signs of wearEx - Record is similar to a VG+ record. Its light marks will be difficult to spot. I will grade a record excellent if it is NM but for one minor issue.VG+ - A Very Good Plus record will show some signs that it was played. Defects should be more of a cosmetic nature, not affecting the actual playback. Record surfaces may show some signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches. Picture sleeves and inner sleeves will have some slight wear or a slight seam split. VG- Surface noise will be evident upon playing, but will not overpower the music. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. G+ - It will have significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. A cover or sleeve will not be pretty and have a rang of issues.
