PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!!

SIDE 1 HAS A SLIGHLTY OFF CENTER LABEL THAT DOES NOT AFFECT PLAY. IT SLIGHTLY CREEPS INTO THE DEADWAX.

DOES NOT INCLUDE THE STICKERS.

I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME, but you will hear some pops & clicks.

Up for sale is one (1) Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon TRUE FIRST PRESSING WITH INTERPAK PATS. PENDING in the lower right corner of the gatefold. First pressing from 1973 on Harvet Records (#SMAS-11163). NO BARCODE. Has WLY for Wally Traugott etched in the deadwax on both sides signaling a high quality mastering.

Only REAL first pressings have INTERPAK Pats. PENDING inside the gatefold. It was removed in later pressings.

MUST ALSO HAVE: Text around bottom edge of label starts at 8 o'clock and says: Mfd. by Capitol Records, Inc., a subsidiary of Capitol Industries, Inc., U.S.A. - ® Capitol Marca Reg - U.S. Pat. No. 2,631,859

You must have both of these attributes to have a true first pressing.

The Vinyl is in Good+ condition but has some visual surface marks that will cause surface noise and pops or clicks typical with a Good+ grading. Even with a Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts. The vinyl is really more of a Very Good- grading, it sounds great.

Fairly clean labels with some spindle marks.

The gatefold cover is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, crumples, ring wear and fading along the seams. NO SPLIT SEAMS. There is a staining of unknown origin on the rear cover(I tried to photograph it, but it is difficult to see. You can feel it as a "rough spot".) It's as if something spilled on it and not immedialtely cleaned off, then was left to dry into the cover.

This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in PRETTY GOOD shape.

DEAD WAX INFO:

Matrix / Runout Side A Etched: SMAS 1 11163  F1 #3 WLY

Matrix / Runout Side B Etched: SMAS 2 11163 F2  #4 WLY

The posters are in Good condition with crumples, dings and typical wear from age and have the following issues:

Pyramid Poster(with SMAS-11163-1 written in the lower right corner): There is a hole at both spots where it is folded over where the 4 panels meet. There are no tape marks or pin holes.

Band Poster(with SMAS-11163-2 written in the lower right corner): There is some liquid damage of an unknown origin, more noticeable on the backside of the poster. There are no tape marks or pin holes.

I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played many times back in the day. I haven't played this LP in over 30 years. It has been in storage ever since.
