Atlantic Rhythm And Blues 1947-1974 14 LP USED Box Set Various Artists 186 cuts. The box it self shows wear but the vinyl is in great condition. This was rarely played as it copied to cassette almost immediately. It's a wonderful compilation, beginning with groundbreaking artists like Stick McGee, Joe Turner and Ruth Brown, then moving through the Drifters, The Platters, LaVern Baker and Ray Charles. Ito the 60's with Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, Wilson Pickett and so many more. It wraps up with Roberta Flack, Donny Hathaway and lots of Aretha. You can't go wrong with this collection from Atlantic, the home of R&B.
