1949 RCA Victor 45 rpm Records In All 7 Original Colors. One each of series 47 black pop, 48 green country, 49 deep red classical, 50 cerise blues, 51 light blue foreign, 52 deep blue broadway and 47 yellow childrens. See pics for suggested display. (Pictures are typical, frame not included.) Each record comes in the correct Victor sleeve. Disk condition is VG+ or better. The 47 black vinyl series with the dull green label is very common, the 49 deep red vinyl, the 52 deep blue and the 47 yellow can still be found occasionally, the 48 green and 51 light blue have become scarce, the 50 series cerise (cherry) are very rare (the Crudup recording 50-0000 sells for $100 and up). None of the rarest (50-0000 Arthur Crudup, 47-0146 Peewee the Piccolo, 48-0001 Eddy Arnold [which some mistakenly think is the "first" 45]) are included in this set.
