THIS IS A PRETTY NICE COMPLETE COPY! THE LP, COVER & INSERTS ARE ALL IN VERY GOOD SHAPE! 

THE COVER IS ACTUALLY IN FANTASTIC SHAPE, EXCEPT FOR THE NAME LINDA WRITTEN IN MARKER ON THE REAR COVER. 

IT EVEN STILL HAS THE GLUE IN THE INTERIOR OF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GATEFOLD THAT HOLDS THE INSERTS IN PLACE. THIS GLUE IS ALMOST ALWAY PUSHED OPEN AS PEOPLE THINK THE VINYL GOES ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE GATEFOLD, BUT THE INSERTS GO ON THE RIGHT SIDE, THAT'S WHY THE GLUE STRIPS ARE THERE, TO HOLD THE INSERTS IN PLACE.(see the last photo)

The name LINDA is written in marker on the rear cover.

Up for sale is one(1) Elton John - Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy LP from 1975 with the gatefold cover on MCA Records (#MCA 2142). There is No Barcode.  ***HAS ALL OF THE 4 ORIGINAL INSERTS.***

Includes with the original Poster, Lyric booklet, Scraps booklet and 2 sided Fan Club order form. The fan club order form is almost always missing from this set. The inserts are in Very Good condition with typical wear with age, which includes dings, creases, etc...

The vinyl is in Very Good condition, but has some visual surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Very Good grading. Even with a Very Good grading there is a going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts. 

Nice clean labels with some spindle marks. Comes in a plain white inner sleeve

The gatefold cover is in Very Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, crumples, ring wear. NO SPLIT SEAMS.  There is the name LINDA written in marker on the rear cover.

This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in Great shape.

I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was gently played back in the day. Not played in over 30+ years.
