Hello everyone!
Here for your viewing pleasure and bidding consideration is a FACTORY SEALED copy of Pink Floyd's 1967 release "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn".
This issue was manufactured at the Winchester, Virginia plant as noted by the "14" on the bottom right corner of the back. I have rated the cover Near Mint because of the small nick on the bottom of the cover as shown in photo 6 and a bending shown in photo 4. The record is obviously Mint.
I'm looking at the Record Bar price sticker and knowing Capitol switched the PF catalog from Tower to Harvest in 1970 and also knowing Record Bar's history (at the time of the album's release the company had almost five stores in North Carolina) I'm thinking this particular copy could be from around 1968 possibly 1969. Either way we know the record will bear either the plain brown or multicolored striped Tower label design. And I think you'll agree it's not every day you see a factory sealed copy of this LP.
Shipping is through USPS Media Mail unless you as the winning bidder prefer another method which of course you'll let me know. As with all my listings if you have any questions regarding this item please contact me and I'll respond as quickly as possible.
Pink Floyd: The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. Tower Records ST 5093.
Thank you.
