Grateful Dead - Vintage Dead - Live at Avalon Ballroom in 1966 Vinyl LP
This is a great recording from the early days of the Grateful Dead. Recorded in 1966, they were a five man band, with Pigpen being the band leader more than anyone else. The 2nd side is one cut featuring him, a classic take of "In The Midnight Hour". My personal favorite is Garcia singing "It's All Over Now Baby Blue". Also included are "I Know You Rider", "It Hurts Me Too" and "Dancing In The Streets".
