Hello everyone!

American Record Pressing was located in Owosso Michigan.  While doing a manufacturing job for one of their clients, Vee-Jay Records, they ran into a situation. During a run there weren't enough of one label design. Necessity being the mother of invention rather than wait for a fresh supply they simply used another design they happened to have on hand. That meant the record had one label design on one side but a different design on the other.
Here now for your bidding consideration is a copy of one of those Vee-Jay albums: LP 1062 better known as "Introducing The Beatles". This is Version Two with the songs "Ask Me Why" and "Please, Please Me replacing "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You". Speaking of "Please, Please Me" this is the version where the 'I know you never even try girl' line is not flubbed.

Let's look at the photos. * 1 and 2 show the overall view. * 3 and 4 show the label errors. * 5, 6, and 7 show the bendings in the top left, top right, and bottom left corners. * 8 shows the cover wear. * 9 gives you a summary of the spine. *10 shows the etched date 2-6-64 - that of course reflects the replacing of the two songs due to the legal complications. *11 shows what looks like the mastering information. * Look at photo 3 again and you'll see another error. "Chains" is credited not to "Goffin-King" as in Gerry Goffin and Carole King but "Coffin-King".
Etched in the dead wax is the following. Side 1: 63-3402-1   URJ   2-6-64 Side 2: 63-3403-1   URJ   2-6-64
This record is in mono.
Playing the record I came across the expected amount of surface noise although considering this is (currently) a 59 year old Beatles album it was not distracting. A skip near the start of "Twist and Shout" was ushered out with a cleaning.
