This fantastic box set highlighting the closing days of the seminal San Francisco rock venue, The Fillmore, is an incredible collection, and captures the late 60s San Francisco sound like no other. From the super stars like the Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna, Santana, to lesser known local bands such as Lamb, Stoneground, Malo and It's A Beautiful Day doing a breathtaking version of "White Bird". My favorite side has Tower of Power doing "Back On The Streets Again", followed by Boz Scaggs "Baby's Calling Me Home" then Cold Blood with "I Just Wanna Make Love To You". but you also hear Santana doing the Miles Davis classic "In A Silent Way", "Casey Jones" by the Dead, "Fresh Air" by Quicksilver, and it finishes with a great jam featuring Elvin Bishop, Taj Mahal and Boz Scaggs.
While the originally included poster is gone, the souvenir ticket is included, along with a 7" 33 rpm spoken word recording from Bill Graham. The liner booklet is also included and is in very good condition. Great photos, a complete listing of Fillmore shows
