Three comedy albums in very good condition from the controversial comedian Lenny Bruce. Arrested several times for violations of obscenity regulations, his comedy challenged social mores regarding racism, homosexuality, drug use, religion and politics. His bits were often considered so offensive that the skit titles  were not printed on the album covers. The three albums in this set are:
The Sick Humor of Lenny Bruce - 1959 The liner notes, by Ralph Gleason, noted music critic, cofounder of the Monterey Jazz Festival and founding editor of Rolling Stone magazine, portray Bruce as a improvisational jazz artist as much as a comedian.
I Am Not A Nut - Elect Me (aka Togetherness) - 1960 - The album is recorded live. The cover is probably too racially controversial to be released today.
The Law, Language and Lenny Bruce - 1974 Released 8 years after his death, this is a result of Bruce's working with Phil Spector just prior to Bruce's death in 1966. Spector produced the album, but it was not released at the time.
