PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!

SUPER RARE COPY OF LED ZEPPELIN II KNOWN AS THE "RL/LH CUTS" VERSION.
PRICED ACCORDINGLY! IF YOU ARE A STICKLER THIS COPY IS NOT FOR YOU.

THERE ARE SOME VISUAL SURFACE MARKS THAT WILL CAUSE SURFACE NOISE THAT IS TYPICAL WITH A GOOD+ GRADING AND BEING A 54 YEAR OLD LP.

THERE IS TYPICAL WEAR TO THE COVER WITH SCRAPES, DINGS, PEELING, CORNER DINGS, STAINING, FADING, and RING WEAR. THE COVER ALSO HAS A PIN HOLE IN BOTH UPPER CORNERS THAT GO THROUGH TO REAR COVER. IT WAS PINNED TO A WALL WITH THE GATEFOLD OPENED.  AND THERE IS A MEDIUM SIZED SPLIT SEAM ON THE BOTTOM.

If these imperfections are a concern for you, please do not buy it.

PLAY TESTED! I JUST PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME!(especially cranked up!). But you will hear surface noise typical with a Good+ grading. Plays all the way through without skips.

This has a Side 1 pressing by ROBERT LUDWIG with "RL SS" in the Side 1 deadwax and has a Side 2 pressing by Lee Hulko with "LH SS" in the Side 2 deadwax. Known as the "RL/LH Cuts".

Pressing Plant ID (Columbia Terre Haute, CTH on labels):

(Side A bottom label): ST-A-691671CTH (Side B bottom label): ST-A-691672CTH

This is the early pressing mastered at Sterling Sound by Bob Ludwig denoted by RL SS on Side 1 and by Lee Hulko denoted by SS LH on Side 2.

Lee Hulko was in charge of remastering some of Side 2, which was the side that was causing the troubles with the original 2 sided RL mastered versions.

Matrix / Runout (A-side runout etched: T | ST-A-691671-1A RL SS Matrix / Runout (B-side runout etched: T | ST-A-691672-D SS LH

Up for sale is one (1) Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II LP from 1969 on Atlantic Records (#SD 8236). First pressing with RL SS etched in the dead wax on Side 1 and LH SS etched in the dead wax on Side 2.

First pressing with 1841 Broadway New York, N.Y. address on the labels.

The Vinyl is in Good+ condition, but has surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Good+ grading. Even with a Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticeable during the quiet parts.

The gatefold cover is in Good+ condition with the typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, dings, fading, peeling, staining and ring wear all of which are typical. There is a medium sized split seam at the bottom.

This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is in Good+ shape.

The labels have spindle marks and some fading.

The LP is now in a plain white inner sleeve.

I obtained this LP in the 1970's. It was played many times back in the day.

It has not been played in over 30 years, until I recently played it prior to this listing.

I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
