PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME! But you will hear surface some noise typical with a Good+ grading.
AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY OF THE SUPER RARE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER for the US Release. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
Up for sale is one(1) Scorpions - Blackout LP from 1982 on Mercury Records (#SRM-1-4039). This LP features some of the Scorpions biggest hits. Has MASTERDISK HW stamped in the Side 1 deadwax signaling a high quality pressing.
Has the Black Mercury Labels.
This LP is getting harder to find as vinyl was being phased out in the 1980s for the coming CD Age.
The Vinyl is in Good+ condition, with surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Good+ grading. Even with a Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.
Nice fairly clean labels with some spindle marks.The cover is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, scrapes, fade spots, fading on the seams, minor staining, and ring wear. There are NO split seams, but there is a stress point / peeling spot on the spine that may lead to a split someday.
The custom inner lyric sleeve is in Good condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, scrapes, minor staining, and ring wear. There is some fraying and tears at the top opening. There are split seams as follows: a small split on one side, a medium sized split on the bottom and the other side is split from the top downward to approximately 3/4 of the way to the bottom.
The LP is now in a plain plastic inner sleeve.
I obtained this LP sometime in the mid 1980s. It was gently played back in the day. Not played in many years.
