Condition and Grading

Please note that all records are visually graded, unless otherwise stated. Please see below for grading definitions

Condition (Sleeve/Disc): Very Good Plus/Excellent

The Cover has general usage marks  The Vinyl is in great condition with no visible marks

Postage & Packaging

UK postage is sent second class by Royal Mail. Postage will be combined for multiple purchases, up to 4 records will be posted for no additional cost (double albums count as two records, etc.)

Records will be removed from their sleeve, prior to despatch to protect seams. Records will be packed in vinyl mailers and great care is taken with all packaging to ensure that your record arrives in the best possible condition.

Mint (M):

Records will only be graded as mint where the record is brand new and sealed with no visible damage to the sleeve.

Near Mint (NM):

Sleeve: Will only show very minor signs of storage/handling wear. It may have slight corner bumps/rub, ringwear and maybe very minor creasing. It will have no rips or splits.

Record: Very Clean. It may have minor defects such as no more than a couple of very light wispy hairlines and a couple of spindle trails around the centre holes.

Excellent (EX):

Sleeve: As NM but the signs of wear will become a little more pronounced. There may be signs of stress at the seams maybe the beginnings of a split. It may have a cut out hole indicating that it was taken out of print. There may be some writing on the sleeve or label.

Record: Will show signs of play but has been well looked after by the previous owner. It may show a few more light marks/scuffs than a NM. These marks won't be deep enough to be felt. There may be the odd click or crackle upon playback and slight warps that don't affect the sound.

Very Good (VG):

Sleeve: A VG sleeve will have many of the defects found in an excellent condition record, but more pronounced. Seam splits may be more obvious or may be taped or show residue. There may be small rips. It may show some age/handling discolouration. Laminate may be bubbled, may be marred with writing.

Record: Wear and defects will be more obvious with marks/scuffs deep enough to feel with a fingernail. Groove wear will be more noticeable. Sound deterioration will become more likely especially during quieter passages.
