In early March 1980, the Clash took their London Calling tour to the US, and on 6th March they performed at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, New Jersey – an infamous music venue that had originally opened in 1921 and which, during the 1970s and 1980s, had become a regular stop on many rock band’s tours.      ___________________
