IF YOU ARE A STICKLER THIS COPY IS NOT FOR YOU!THERE ARE VISUAL SURFACE MARKS THAT WILL CAUSE SURFACE NOISE THAT IS TYPICAL WITH A GOOD+ GRADING. MOST NOTABLY AT THE BEGINING OF SIDE 1 THERE IS A MOSTLY UNFEELABLE SURFACE MARK THAT DOES NOT ADVERSELY EFFECT PLAY. IT LOOKS WORSE THAN IT SOUNDS.
THE COVER HAS WEAR THAT IS TYPICAL WITH AGE FOR THIS COVER, INCLUDING RING WEAR, FADING, CREASES, CORNER DINGS, SCRAPES and A STICKER REMOVAL SPOT IN THE UPPER LEFT FRONT COVER.
I'm still grading this cover as Good+ as it structurally sound and has NO split seams.
AND THE INNER SLEEVE HAS A MEDIUM SIZED SPLIT SEAM ON THE BOTTOM.
IF ANY OF THESE ISSUES ARE A CONCERN FOR YOU, PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT.
AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY OF THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME, especially cranked up! But you will hear surface noise typical with a Good+ grading.
This is a 1st Press Vinyl with the matrix numbers stamped in the deadwax with a 1st Press Cover with no barcode on the rear cover.
Up for sale is one (1) Pink Floyd - Animals LP from 1977 on Columbia Records (#JC 34474).
The Vinyl is in Good+ condition but has some visual surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Good+ grading. Even with a Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticible during the quiet parts.
Nice, fairly clean labels with some spindle marks.
The gatefold cover is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, crumples, ring wear and fading. THERE ARE NO SPLIT SEAMS.
Even though there are some flaws, I'm still grading this cover as Good+ as it is still structurally sound and there are no split seams.
This cover typically does not age well, but this one is in GOOD+ shape.

The custom inner lyric sleeve is in Good+ condition with fading, dings, crumples, ring wear and typical wear from age. There is a medium sized split seam on the bottom. The lyric sleeve is actually in very good shape except for the split.
I obtained this LP in the 1970s. It was gently played back in the day. I haven't played this LP in over 30 years. It has been in storage ever since.
