THE COVER IS ROUGH WITH HEAVY WEAR INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING ISSUES:
THERE IS A LARGE SPLIT SEAM ON THE SPINE AND THE TOP SEAM (see pics).
THERE IS ALSO A PORTION OF THE COVER ON THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE FRONT COVER THAT HAS BEEN TORN AWAY(see pics).
THERE IS A NAME WRITTEN IN PEN ON THE REAR COVER(see pics). AND THERE IS TAPE REMOVAL MARKS ON THE TOP SEAM.
THE VINYL IS IN "GOOD" CONDITION, IN ADDITION TO MANY SURFACE MARKS, THERE IS A LONG FEELABLE SCRATCH ON SIDE 2 SPANNING SEVERAL TRACKS.(see pics)
WHILE THE SURFACE MARK LOOKS GNARLY AND WILL CAUSE AN AUDIBLE POP OR CLICK FOR MANY ROTATIONS, IT DOES NOT CAUSE ANY SKIPS OR STICKING SCRATCHES. OTHER THAN THE SCRATCH, THE LP PLAYS GREAT THE REST OF THE WAY.
THE LP PLAYS ALL THE WAY THROUGH WITHOUT SKIPS, BUT YOU WILL HEAR POPS, CLICKS AND SURFACE NOISE.
IF ANY OF THESE ISSUES ARE A CONCERN FOR YOU PLEASE DO NOT BUY IT.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it STILL SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD, EXCEPT FOR THE CLICKS & POPS ON SIDE 2!
Up for sale is one(1) RUSH - Self Titled Debut LP from 1974 LP on Mercury Records (#SRM-1-1011).
This is a First U.S. Pressing. There is No Barcode. Has the Mercury Chicago Skyline label.
Has MASTERDISK stamped in the dead wax on both sides.
The vinyl is in "Good" condition, but has surface marks that may cause surface noise typical with a Good grading. Even with a Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.
Nice fairly clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is in FAIR condition with HEAVY wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, crumples, and ring wear.
