PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE A STICKLER, THIS COPY IS NOT FOR YOU!

THE COVER HAS SOME ISSUES AS FOLLOWS: THE NAME "OWEN" IS WRITTEN IN PEN INSIDE THE LETTER "O" IN THE DOORS AT THE TOP OF THE FRONT COVER. (please see pics)

THE NAME "OWEN" IS ALSO WRITTEN IN BLACK MARKER AT THE TOP OF THE FRONT COVER.(please see pics)

THERE ARE CRUMPLES & CREASES and SOME SCRAPES ON THE FRONT & REAR COVERS. (please see pics)

THERE ARE A FEW SCRAPES IN THE CELLOPHANE WINDOW.

THERE IS A STAIN OF AN UNKNOWN ORIGIN ON THE INSIDE OF THE FRONT & REAR COVERS NEAR THE BOTTOM. (please see pics)

I'M STILL GRADING THIS COVER AS GOOD+ AS IT IS STRUCTURALLY SOUND AND THERE ARE NO SPLIT SEAMS.

THE YELLOW INNER SLEEVE HAS A SMALL SPLIT SEAM ON 2 SIDES. AND THERE IS A PEEL MARK ON THE PLAIN YELLOW SIDE. (please see pics)

THE VINYL HAS SURFACE MARKS THAT WILL CAUSE SURFACE NOISE TYPICAL WITH A GOOD+ GRADING.

IF ANY OF THESE ISSUES ARE A CONCERN FOR YOU, PLEASE DON'T BUY IT.

PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME! But you will hear surface noise typical with a Good+ grading.

Up for sale is one(1) THE DOORS - L.A. Woman 1st Pressing LP with the Cellophane Window, Embossed Cover & Yellow inner sleeve from 1971 on the Elektra Records  (#EKS-75011). There is No Barcode.

Has the Artisan symbol etched in the deadwax signaling a high quality mastering, which is why this LP sounds so good after 50 years.

This is the very rare TRUE ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING with Rounded Corners, EMBOSSED COVER, SEE THROUGH CELLOPHANE WINDOW WITH THE YELLOW INNER SLEEVE WITH THE WOMAN BEING CRUCIFIED ON THE TELEPHONE POLE and 15 COLUMBUS DRIVE ADDRESS on the BUTTERFLY ELEKTRA LABEL.

YOU MUST HAVE ALL OF THESE ATTRIBUTES TO HAVE A TRUE FIRST PRESSING.

The Vinyl is in Good+ condition with surface marks that will cause surface noise typical with a Good+ grading. Even with a Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticeable during the quiet parts.

Nice fairly clean Elektra Butterfly labels with some spindle marks. The labels are in Good+ condition.

The custom inner sleeve is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to dings, scrapes, ring wear, and creases & crumples. There is a small split on 2 sides.

The LP is now in a plain white inner sleeve.

The cover is in Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to dings, scrapes, ring wear, and creases & crumples, all of which are typical with this very delicate cover. There is some fraying around the window(typical with this cover). There are no split seams. There are a few surface scrapes in the cellophane window(again, typical with this cover). And there is writting in Pen and Black marker on the front cover.

This cover typically does not age well because of all the delicate parts, but this one is in Good+ shape(for this cover).

I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
