Exclusive fan club single featuring two tracks from the second of the band's 1983 Royal Albert Hall concerts with Robert Smith of The Cure on guitar. Limited edition of 2500 copies.
President of the Siouxsie and the Banshees fan club, Billy Chainsaw, writes in Phase Three: Issue One of The File (the official Banshees fan club magazine):
As 1983 draws to an end, a new phase of The File begins, and with it the long awaited exclusive record....since its first mention in the fan club's more formative days, what exactly would be on the vinyl has continually changed, but due to the tremendous quality of the 'live' recordings of the recent Albert Hall concerts, and with so many tracks remaining after the double album was compiled, the group decided that rather than have them gather dust, they would make two of them available to you as a Christmas treat. So (unless you joined The File after the event) you now possess one of only 2500 copies of HEADCUT / RUNNING TOWN - recorded during the second (of two) concerts at The Royal Albert Hall on 1.10.1983 - incidentally, Running Town has never been released before but will feature on the forthcoming studio album.
One careful owner. Records I list are from my personal collection and 99% were originally bought new including this one.
Will be well packaged. I can combine postage into one if more than one item is bought. See my other vinyl listings.
