SHAKE AND FINGERPOP [EP] – Junior Walker & The All Stars (1966/UK Tamla Motown)
In the usual tradition, this great Tamla Motown EP draws together a selection of recent hits – this time by saxophonist/vocalist Junior Walker. It includes ‘Shake And Fingerpop’ (the name was later to become one of the key rare groove/funk club nights of the Nineties), its B-side ‘Cleo’s Back’, ‘Do The Boomerang’ and ‘Shotgun’ – all from 1965. This copy has the scarce pic sleeve intact.
