This very rare LP, Stax 702 Treasured hits from the South by Nick Charles, is a must-have for any collector of rock and R&B & soul music. With 33 RPM speed and a 12" black vinyl record, this LP features some of the best hits from the South that are sure to get you grooving.
The record grading is Very Good (VG) and the sleeve grading is also Very Good (VG), making this LP a valuable addition to any music lover's collection. The release title, along with the artist's name, Nick Charles, is prominently displayed on the cover. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of musical history. Plays well with some scuffs.
This is one of, if not the the rarest LP's on the Stax Label. The release is # 702, the some on the rare Gus Cannon LP. This is a compilation album featuring numerous Stax artist plus others who were on the other Memphis labels, e.g. Sun, Phillips, etc. Nick Marks, a local DJ, is featured doing a a Carla Thomas song on the B side.
Besides the much south after Gus Cannon LP on Stax, there is also the 1967 "Stay In School" compilation, which I am also listing on eBay at this time.
Cover is slight discolored on the back and there is a small stain, no splits and there are two small stickers on the front.
