Island label 2 x LP Compilation from 1971
A Legendary collection of Rock, Folk, and Reggae artists from the Island label.
The LPs were originally housed in a “twin” PVC sleeve which at one time was glued to the inner of the gatefold sleeve. This had a “self-cleaning” foam strip which long ago stopped being effective, and has actually marked the LPs (see photos). You can hear a slight hiss on playback where the marks from the foam/glue residue has marked the vinyl on 2 of the sides.
The LPs are still in great shape, but are marked down from a potential Near Mint to VG+.
 I have re-housed these in much safer sleeves (again, see pics).
All-in -all a CLASSIC comp for fans of early 70’s Island rock music.

As a record collector of almost 50 years, it is now time to thin out the collection a little. 

Over the forthcoming months, weeks (and possibly years), I will be posting items from my collection for sale. 

These include duplicates and alternate pressings to some I have in my collection, some records I picked up along the way of artists I like(d), and some purchased just cos I liked the cover! Many items accumulated over years of digging in record shops and online. 

Some LPs will brand new/ sealed, almost all are in decent condition (EX-NM) with a few collectables/unwanted LPs  at VG-VG+ thrown in for those bargain spotters. 

I have kept the prices (I think!) fairly decent for each LP.
