Comments – A fine recording of this work from 1957, this is the digitally remastered version from 1986 the last time it was pressed on good quality vinyl, superb singing probably never surpassed, lovely recording for the era
Sleeve Condition – EX - Box in excellent condition, square corners, very fine booklet with no signs of being read but a tiny spot of foxing to top corner, last time it was issued with a high quality full size libretto, all clean inside, all glue joints and seams intact
Disc Condition – EX+ - Clean bright surfaces, exceptionally light handling marks, exceptionally light spindle marks, a common record but surprisingly scarce in this condition
