PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE A STICKLER, THIS COPY IS NOT FOR YOU!

There are many visual surface marks and some feelable surface marks that will cause crackling, surface noise and pops & clicks that are typical with a Good grading. You will definitely hear crackling during the quiet parts.

The cover has creases, crumples, scrapes, fading, corner dings, peeling, ring wear etc... There are no split seams.

I'M STILL GRADING THIS COVER AS GOOD+ AS IT IS STRUCTURALLY SOUND AND THERE ARE NO SPLIT SEAMS. THERE IS A PEEL SPOT / SLIGHT STRESS POINT ON THE SPINE THAT MAY LEAD TO A SPLIT SOMEDAY.

IF ANY OF THESE ISSUES ARE A CONCERN FOR YOU, PLEASE DON'T BUY IT.

PLAY TESTED!  I recently played this LP and it STILL SOUNDS PRETTY GOOD! But you will hear surface noise and pops & clicks typical with a Good grading. Plays all the way through without skipping, but you WILL hear surface noise.

Up for sale is one(1) THE DOORS - Self Titled Debut LP from 1967 on the Elektra Records  (# EKS-74007). There is No Barcode. This is the STEREO pressing.

This is the 1st pressing on the Gold / Tan Elektra Label with the "Big E".

Has "(Weill-Brecht, Witmark ASCAP)" publishing credit printed on A-side label below Alabama Song. Witmark was later changed to Harms for the 2nd pressings.

Deadwax info:

Side 1= EKS - 74007 A (A)

Side 2= EKS - 74007 B (A)

The vinyl is in Good condition, but has many visual surface marks and some feelable surface marks that will cause  surface noise and pops or clicks typical with a Good grading. Even with a Good grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.

Nice fairly clean Elektra Butterfly labels with spindle marks. The labels are in Good condition.

The LP is now in a plain white inner sleeve.

The cover is in Good+ condition with the typical wear from age, including, but not limited to creases, crumples, scrapes, fading, corner dings, peeling, ring wear etc... all of which are typical. There are no split seams.

This cover and typically does not age well, but this one is in Good+ shape.

I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
