Lot of 12 Peter Leschenko Records, 78rpm Ethnic, Very Rare!
Very rare item, an album of 12 rare vintage 78rpm records by the Russian singer Peter Lestchenko, who combined Russian Folk music with Tango. These are US pressings from the 1950s intended for Russian ex-patriots. Many of these were smuggled back into the USSR where Lestchenko's music was banned.
These are from a private collection and all are in excellent condition and play beautifully. The discs are from the Stinson label: 3122, 3235, 3113, 3064, 3238, 3223, 3114, 3030, 3365, 3175, 3291 and from the Argee label 1047.
