Very rare and unique item, this is a set of 12 Ukranian and Russian 78rpm records released in the US in the 1950s on the Stinson Label.
Stinson released recordings of Russian artists in America, but these records were often smuggled back into the USSR where these artists were banned. Some of the artists featured here are Peter Lestchenko, Alexander Vertinsky, Vadim Kozin and Klaudia Shulzhenko.
These are from the private collection of a Russian woman who was very orderly and took excellent care of her records! All are in excellent condition and play beautifully. The set includes the following Stinson Records by catalogue number: 3117, 3234, 3292, 3004, 3198, 3156, 3056, 3252, 3096, 3128, 3166, 3018.
