THIS IS A PRETTY NICE COPY! THE COVER and LP ARE IN VERY GOOD+ SHAPE!
And the INNER SLEEVE is in VERY GOOD SHAPE WITH 2 SMALL SPLIT SEAMS. (see pics).
AS A BONUS I HAVE INCLUDED A Black & White PHOTOCOPY OF THE VERY RARE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER FROM THE FIRST U.S. PRESSING. I like to add a PHOTOCOPY of the hype sticker, if I have it, as an added bonus as they are usually discarded and are hard to find.
Up for sale is one(1) Van Halen - Self Titled Debut LP from 1978 on Warner Bros. Records (#BSK 3075). THIS IS A TRUE FIRST PRESSING. This is the misprint label version with the number 4 listed twice on the Side 1 label. There is No Barcode.THIS IS THE SUPER RARE VERSION WITH THE LABEL MISPRINT WITH side 1 tracks being listed as 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5 instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
PLAY TESTED! I recently played this LP and it SOUNDS AWESOME!
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with a Very Good+ grading. Even with a Very Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.
Nice, clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is in Very Good+ condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings / soft corners, dings, fading, and ring wear, all of which are typical. There are No Split Seams. There is a small sticker removal mark on the rear cover. (please see pics)
This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is still in Very Good+ shape.The custiom inner sleeve is in Very Good condition with wear typical from age including, but not limited to corner dings, creases, crumples, and ring wear. There is a small split seam on the top and small split seam stemming from the side opening on the bottom. (please see pics)
The LP is now in a plain inner sleeve.
