PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!
THIS IS A SUPER RARE MISPRINT FIRST PRESSING WITH THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:
1) THE SIDE 2 LABEL HAS THE MISPRINT OF THE "#1" IN THE TRACKING LISTING IS MISSING,
2) HAS THE BLACK FONT / PRINT ON THE LABELS,
3) INCLUDES THE HIDDEN TRACK AT THE END OF SIDE 2.
PLEASE NOTE:
I know, I know, eBay doesn't have a Vey Good Minus grading, but I'm going to use it anyway. The LP, Cover and Inner Sleeve are in better than Good+ condition, but not as good as Very Good condition, so I'm grading them right in between as Very Good Minus.
IF YOU ARE A STICKLER, THIS COPY IS NOT FOR YOU! READ ON!
THERE ARE A COUPLE OF AUDIBLE POPS / CLICKS ON SIDE 2 AS FOLLOWS:
ON THE LANDING BETWEEN TRACKS 3 & 4 THERE IS A LOUD AUDIBLE CLICK JUST BEFORE THE FIRST PIANO NOTE ON "BETH". IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE MUSIC. IT POPS AFTER TRACK 3 HAS ENDED AND BEFORE TRACK 4 HAS STARTED.
THE ARE A COUPLE OF MORE SUBTLE AUDIBLE POPS / CLICKS AT THE BEGINING OF TRACK 5 AND COUPLE OF MORE SUBTLE AUDIBLE POPS IN THE MIDDLE OF TRACK 5.
THE SURFACE MARKS DO NOT CAUSE ANY SKIPS(AT LEAST ON MY TURNTABLE), BUT YOU WILL HEAR SOME POPS OR CLICKS.
THERE IS A LARGE SCRIBBLE IN BLUE PEN IN THE LOWER RIGHT CORNER OF THE REAR COVER. (please see pics)
The Vinyl is in Very Good- condition, with typical wear from age that will cause surface noise typical with a Very Good-grading. Even with a Very Good- grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly, more noticible during the quiet parts.
There are noticeable visual surface marks that will cause a few pops or clicks typical with a Very Good- grading. (please see pics)
Nice, fairly clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is in Very Good- condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, soft corners, creases, crumples, scrapes, peeling, fading, and ring wear. There are no split seams.
This cover typically does not age well but this one is in Very Good- shape.
This is a First Press with the Blue Bogart Labels with Black Font and missing the #1 on the Side 2 Label Track Listing.
HAS BLUE BOGART LABELS with BLACK FONT.
Dead wax info:
Matrix / Runout (Side 1 runout): NBLP-7025 7025-1-A KMC STERLING Matrix / Runout (Side 2 runout): NBLP-7025 7025-2-A-KMC STERLINGI recently played this LP and it STILL SOUNDS GREAT, but you will hear surface noise and / or pops & clicks typical with a Very Good- grading.
The LP is now in a plain inner sleeve.
I am thinning out my vinyl collection. This is the actual item you will receive. See the photos and judge for yourself.
