DIR Radio Network, makers of the famous King Biscuit Flower Hour weekly radio show, produced this program for airplay on radio stations coast to coast on November 27, 1986. Entitled "The Thanksgiving Super Concert," it features exclusive live content from the Colombian Relief Concert held at the Royal Albert Hall in London earlier in '86.
The special features selections from David Gilmour, Pete Townshend with his daughter Emma, Annie Lenox, The Pretenders, and the Pretenders with Annie Lenox on a closing song.
Special is on 3 vinyl albums with five sides of programming - music plus commercials and commentary. Side six is blank. Includes the DIR cue sheet and you can see the selections from that photo.
Used once on-air and stored since then. 3 Lp's in plastic sleeves originally arrived at radio station in cardboard mailer without any rigid 12" sleeve. Will provide one for extra protection.
Records are in near-perfect shape but the pressing has some inperfections which do not effect play. The very end of Side A is the exception - a vinyl imperfection causes a 'tick' for the last 15 seconds of David Gilmour's "Out of the Blue."
