THIS IS THE SUPER RARE VERSION OF LED ZEPPELIN II KNOWN AS THE "RL / LH CUTS" VERSION.

The vinyl has wear that is typical with age that includes surface marks that will cause surfce noise and/or light pops & clicks typical with a Good+ grading. The surface marks do not cause any skips but you will hear surfce noise, certainly more noticeable during the quiet parts. (please see pics)PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME! But you will hear surface typical with a Good+ grading.
Up for sale is one (1) Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II LP from 1969 on Atlantic Records (#SD 8236). First pressing the "GOLD RECORD AWARD" sticker on the front cover.
This has a Side 1 pressing by ROBERT LUDWIG with "RL SS" in the Side 1 deadwax and has a Side 2 pressing by Lee Hulko with "LH SS" in the Side 2 deadwax. Known as the "RL/LH Cuts".
Pressing Plant ID (Columbia Terre Haute, CTH on labels):
(Side A bottom label): ST-A-691671CTH (Side B bottom label): ST-A-691672CTH
This is the early pressing mastered at Sterling Sound by Robert Ludwig denoted by RL SS on Side 1 and mastered by Lee Hulko denoted by SS LH on Side 2 etched in the deadwax.
Lee Hulko was in charge of remastering some of Side 2, which was the side that was causing the troubles with the original 2 sided RL mastered versions.

First pressing with 1841 Broadway New York, N.Y. address on the labels.
The Vinyl is in Good+ condition, but has some surface marks that may cause surface noise typical with a Good+ grading. Even with a Good+ grading there is going to be a certain amount of surface noise. Certainly more noticeable during the quiet parts.
The gatefold cover is in Very Good condition with the typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, dings, fading, peeling, staining and ring wear all of which are typical. There are no split seams.
This cover typically doesn't age well, but this one is in Very Good shape.
The labels are in Good+ condition with some spindle marks.
Includes the original Atlantic Records stock inner sleeve that has typical wear from age, which includes split seams and tears, rips, fraying, etc...The LP is now in a plain white inner sleeve.
