SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR NORWAY, SWITZERLAND, LIECHTENSTEIN and RUSSIA:

According to the smart people who take care of the decisions in the headquarters of the Finnish post you are now Europeans when we send letter post but when we send large parcels you are now Region 3 tariff zone, same as USA and IRAQ! It does not seem to matter that you are neighbor countries. So for you it is cheaper if we stick to registered letter post for 2-4 LP’s ( up to 1500grams).

One regular LP, weight under 500grams - registered letter EUR 11.20 / $14

        2-3 LP’s, up to 1000 grams – registered letter EUR 17.50 / $22

           4 LP’s, up to 1500 grams – registered letter EUR 24.60 / $30

        5-15 LP’s, up to 5000 grams – registered priority parcel EUR 31.00 / $ 38  (CD /shirt/zine / 10" and 7" can be combined)

3.      USA & AUSTRALIA & CANADA & JAPAN & THE REST OF THE WORLD (there is a fourth zone but the price differences are insignificant here , only one euro difference or so)

One regular LP, weight under 500grams - registered letter EUR 21.50 / $28

        2-15 LP’s, up to 5000 grams – registered priority parcel EUR 31.00 / $ 38   (CD /shirt/zine / 10" and 7" can be combined)

- if you are willing to wait I can, in some cases, send one REGULAR LP (under 500grams) for $14 but then you must allow 3-6 weeks for delivery. This is ok for USA, Canada, Australia and Japan only!
- this means ECONOMY shipping and it's ok for LP's wich I list for $30 or less.
-if you want to use this option please contact me before you bid!

SHIPPING PRICE FOR 12" VINYL INSIDE FINLAND IS ALWAYS 8 EUROS, NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU BUY - PAYMENT BY BANK TRANSFER!

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION ABOUT THESE SHIPPING PRICES I'LL BE HAPPY TO CLEAR THINGS FOR YOU AND PROVIDE A LINK TO THE ENGLISH SITE OF THE FINNISH POST.

VINYL GRADING

M or NM = New item or item with no visible signs of wear.

EX = Used but near perfect condition. Vinyl may have a few hairlines from the inner sleeve, sleeve may have a light corner scuff or minor edge /shelf  wear or barely visible ringwear. Plays perfect.

VG = Normal used vinyl in Very Good condition.Vinyl has light scratches or lots of light hairlines from the inner sleeve. Sleeve has ringwear and/or a starting seamsplit, corner bends or scuffs but nothing serious. Sound quality is perfect / very near perfect, perhaps you will hear a snap or sound from the surface hairlines during intros or between tracks.

G = G means Good and a hardened vinyl maniac should have no problem with LP's in G condition. LP will have visible scratches. You will hear several snaps / a skip / sound from the surface hairlines between tracks but the LP plays through without bigger problems. I always play these  from start to finish and carefully analyze the sound quality. Sleeve in G condition has several of the following : heavy ringwear /cornerbends / small tear / a seamsplit or 2. If there are stains or writing on cover I'll mention it. LP in G condition is still good for listening but Mint collectors stay away from these. I'll price these low and there is not much resell value.

F = Fair. If I have LP's in fair condition, LP's wich start to repeat and shit like that I don't sell them, I'll give em for free or keep for myself.

I also use the + / -  marks to be more specific.

As a reminder I would like to say that I often see seamsplits, light scratches or light hairlines on NEW, never played Lp's. Also there are differences in the equipment we use to play our vinyl with. This is all part of the vinyl magic. When I play my LP's I don't notice if the condition is NM or G, I just enjoy the music, but then again I heard my first LP's in the 70's when my dad played his LP's and I've been buying LP's for 30 years now. I  understand if a younger vinyl maniac pays $100 for a rare LP and is disappointed because the vinyl was in G condition instead of the promised EX or something so I try to grade my LP's as well as I can.

Thanks for looking!
