For sale - from my personal collection - the following LP by special California band THE BLASTERS, titled:
"THE BLASTERS"
original 1981 pressing on Slash Records SR 109, STEREO, made in USA. Original inner sleeve with drawing and lyrics. No bar code on back cover.
Band's SECOND album.
CONDITION:
- front cover is close to NM (having both bottom corners and upper right corner a little touched)
- back cover is close to NM
- vinyl is NM side one (possibly MINT) and close to NM side two (having some local scuffs on it not affecting the sound)
Record was cleaned and tested, playing MINT.
Featuring the brothers Phil and Dave Alvin, John Bazz (bass), Bill Bateman (drums), Gene Taylor (piano). Band formed 1979 in Downey, California, with debut album "American music" issued 1980.
12 tracks, studio recordings. Produced by the Blasters. Music is rockabilly variety fused with elements of blues, punk and New Orleans roadhouse R&B. Hard-to-find album in any condition. Highly recommended!
