 READ MY DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY,

 Disc 1223 both sides are NM .  Disc 1222 (single sided) is VG +,  (2ml grey scuff/scratch side  1), which  results in a bit over a minute of  soft pips track 1, WHICH IS FIRST PART OF SOUND SAMPLE PROVING NO serious REPLAY EFFECT or skips, the treble bias on the digital sample tends to make it sound worse than on a turntable. BOTH DISCS are embossed with spindle hole tax code "N" for April 1953- Oct 1955 pressings on side 1 and 3, (see photo's 5 and  11 near the spindle hole in Supersize mode)

Read  postage details in particular, as OZ post just made 1 LP cheaper but 2 LP's more expensive if you want to bulk buy.  THESE 2LP's and covers,  weigh 450 gms with the gategolds UNPACKED  (this is 2 LP's in one auction) so this is a 1KG post pack on its own if not in a bulk pack perhaps as above........

Sound sample includes about 1 minute 33 seconds  of side 1 (the small grey scuff/scratch area and associated tic see photo 3 just to left of FLASH shine to make it show up) After that the opening edges of disc 2 (1223) also are sampled for a couple of minutes eachtotal sample 6 minutes 21 seconds.

Each of the 3 sides, sound sampled, (record 1, Side 2 is 'Blank') where any needle drop or edge damage would expect to be heard, all REASONABLY clean, but just a few LITTLE static crackles here and there in a VERY quiet recording (solo Baritone and Piano)   a little more static on edges, perhaps a GOOD WASH by the new owner will remove them.

Important note for USA Domiciled buyers, ebay says post is limited to $4 , however because, it is coming from the 'Land Downunder' (No Vegemite stains on cover) OZ post airmail is comparatively expensive, that charge to the REAL post cost which is the second option on the invoice to the postage tab quote..........you know what I am saying  !!!!!.   ALSO this is exempt as it is a bulk listing (More than 1 LP)  and the $4 limit is for normal weight single lp sales

 

NM Disc 2 VG+ disc 2 Besides the minute of tics on disc one,  these records  play Cleanly with normal  occasional surface noise.  I would think Rarely played, very little sign of spindle wear or rotational spindle mark, a little bit of dust, but not even many sunlight visible paper spiderline scuffs  (see Photo's)

This pressing made by Columbia is PRESSED IN England and is a first label Blue  Gold GROOVED LABEL EARLY pressing N TAX code 1953-1955

WAX CODES in Block Print etch style also stating  (I believe the earlist available 1st pressings)

Sound sample is of the opening  minutes run in on both sides, 6 minutes on side 3,  1 minutes on side 4,  to show how clean the most vulnerable to needle drop or scuffing areas are. Rest of LP plays as clean or better.

VG+  covers  UNLAMINATED Scallop flipbacks, ONLY damage is the VERY LIGHT label rubbing and RINGWEAR on the front of BOTH COVERs and the rubbed top section of both covers SPLINES which has removed "Schubert"  on both LP outer covers splines

All  other seams are good no rips or tears, also the rear unlaminated card is in clean condition

 

BE aware the sound sample  IS A LOW SAMPLE RATE AND accentuates treble (Hence more static crackle that you DON'T hear through your Hi Fi) and is low quality, but you get the idea.
