Vinyl (VISUAL GRADING): VG+: Excellent shine. Labels are very clean, no writing. A few surface marks and lite scratches. Played through with no skips or sticks, very lite noise in spots, not objectionable.
Cover: VG: Front and back are in VG+ condition. The edges have been taped as shown in the pics. The jacket is autographed by Billy Krechmer, the band members and even by the bar tender at the Jam Session.

This is a very rare record. Krechmer was a Philadelphia jazz legend in the 30s to 60s. He owned a club called The Jam Session in Philly frequented by many of the jazz greats of the era. This recording was made at The Jam Session in 1954. Krechmer is known to have been recorded only three times in his life, once in 1950, this session and one he made in the early 60s. This is a real piece of jazz history and is particularly related to the Philly jazz scene. The back is autographed by Billy and his bandmates as well as "Dave" the bar tender at The Jam Session.
