Details:- From my own personal collection - In The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson, rare 1970 UK pressing on the Island 'pink rim' label. Catalogue No. ILPS 9111. The record is housed in the original non-laminated gatefold sleeve. The matrix numbers are as follows - ILPS 9111 A-4U, ILPS 9111 B-4U

Vinyl Condition:- Visually the record is close to an EX but certainly sounds and plays as an EX grade. Gleaming vinyl with just a few very fine and silent hairlines only visible when viewed at an angle under bright light. This record has been fully test played before this auction

Sleeve Condition:- EX+ Great condition, all I can see is just some very miniscule wear at the spine corners, no ringwear, no wear to edges, no splits. The extra wide spine is crisp and fully readable and inside the gatefold is as new.

Label Condition:- EX, nice clean labels with just two or three very light spindle marks

Grading Abbreviations

Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade

MINT: I only used this grade for new or unplayed records. I use the grade NEAR MINT
If a record has been played, even if the condition of the record and sleeve is perfect.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
