The best of this seminal Jazz label from 1971- 1976......representing primarily Black artists and giving them artistic freedom to express them selves during that crucial period for Black activists,artists and musicians.Doug Carn is perhaps one of the better known,but all of the artists are fantastic.Chester Thompson- who was also the talented organist in Tower OF Power,and later Santana- has a great track named PowerHouse.
