THE BEATLES Beatles For Sale 1964 MONO 1st UK PRESS EX!

This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system.  I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks

Details:- From my own personal collection - THE BEATLES - 'BEATLES FOR SALE' UK 1st MONO pressing dates from initial December 1964 release on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1240. Outline MONO text on top right front of sleeve Both labels bear the 'Sold in UK....' text with 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims. All 1st UK pressing attributes

Matrix numbers: XEX 503-4N & XEX 504-4N

Stamper codes: 3,8/LA & 3,8/HT

Housed in the original outer laminated, inner-flipback gatefold cover, complete with original lined 'Emitex..' inner-sleeve

Vinyl Condition:- EX. Gleaming vinyl with just a few minor light surface hairlines only visible when viewed at an angle under bright light. Test play produced great sound quality overall with just the only things of note were three clicks in the intro of Eight Days A Week and three more in Honey Don't . Anything else is totally background and barely noticable. This record has been fully test played before this auction

Sleeve Condition:- VG+ On the front - three creases in the laminate and smaller fearthered ones around edges and spine. Some wear and light fraying on the top and bottom spine corners and also small creases from dings. On the back the record rim has left a slight impression and minor dulling in the laminate when you view the sleeve at an angle under light. The back has feathered creases around the edges and spine. The spine is very slighty flattened at an angle but not fully and the text is fully readable.

Label Condition:- EX. Nice clean labels with just a few very minor light spindle marks, no wear around spindle hole and no unwanted marks or writing etc.

Grading Abbreviations

Grading below is as stated from UK Record Collector. I also use +/- for records that fall somewhere between a grade

MINT: I only used this grade for new or unplayed records. I use the grade NEAR MINT
If a record has been played, even if the condition of the record and sleeve is perfect.

EXCELLENT:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
