Please understand that altering the final price of online purchases to avoid customs fees is illegal.  Every order is processed digitally, the shipping label affixed to the package will show the exact cost of the item.  I am an honest seller and cannot alter the amount, so please do not ask me to do so. RECORD packaging & shipping!
I provide ample padding in each package to prevent shifting during the shipping process. I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records. Records are shipped outside their sleeves (if a sleeve is included) and covers to prevent damage during transit.

Goldmine Standard Grading:

SS / NM- / VG++ / VG+ / VG / G+ / G / P
I grade conservatively, please see my grading scale below the record description for more details.

Here's a clean, original pressing of Monk's Orchestra at Town Hall on Riverside.  Clean record, check the description below for more info!

VinylVG++ to strong VG++ (8.5 or better out of 10)
This is a conservative grade. To provide the best description possible, detailed text, and numerous pictures may be used to fully describe the record for sale.
The record plays great all the way through.  Very nice playback.  The record has no skips and plays continuously.  Light mark on side 1 doesn't affect play. There are a few light sleeve scuffs and a few light marks on side 2, a couple are lightly detectable to the touch.  One marks causes about 10 audible pops as the record gets started, after the music kicks in none can be heard.  You can hear this in the second clip below. Overall though, the playback is excellent in my opinion. I really enjoyed listening to the record and have a complete file of playback.
Labels look exactly as pictured.
Please judge the playback for yourself at the clips below.  For playback, I use a Fisher MT-6250 Studio-Standard Linear Motor Direct Drive turntable coupled with a Pickering DSE-1 cartridge/stylus setup.
The clips you hear below are one clip from each side, respectively. This is a visual grade as well as a complete play grade. Again, please feel free to check the sound clips below!

Cover / Sleeve:
The cover grades strong VG+
The cover is sturdy and solid, rather heavy and of quality build.  Print looks nice. Spine shows some early signs of print cracking. Edges show some very light wear in a couple spots.  Bottom edge at mouth has a small split, less than one inch.  Top has a small area of print missing near the mouth edge but the cover is still solid. Back cover shows light foxing, some light contact wear but still clear print. Small label with name at top right. Very nice example of this cover. Pictures show the cover well and it looks exactly as pictured.
Inner sleeve... the original poly bag had seen its day, I've replaced it with a new poly sleeve, it will protect the vinyl. Also, the cover will ship inside a poly sheath. All will be shipped in the plastic sheath then bubble wrapped, cardboard padded, packed and marked FRAGILE as all my records ship. Please see my feedback to rest assured I take pride in my shipping practices.
Please inspect the pictures well for something I may have missed mentioning. I've enjoyed the record while I've owned it, its time to let it go to make room for more acquisitions. I try to be conservative when grading, I hope my description was sufficient.

Thanks for looking!
Mike

Goldmine Grading Details
SS = Still Sealed
any defects will be listed and/or photographed to complete the description

NM- = Near Mint Minus
just short of perfect - acceptable defects would include a hairline mark not detectable to the touch and not affecting playback, background noise is nearly silent

VG++ = Very Good Plus Plus
most records I will list fall under this grade, just short of NM- but may have a mark or contact wear to the label to grade it slightly lower, maybe a drill hole or saw cut, maybe a mark or name written on the label lightly, sound is still great, loud and near perfect, cover may have slight edge or corner wear, maybe slight ring wear

VG+ = Very Good Plus
 a great record, sound is high quality though may have a few pops or clicks, overall very nice looking vinyl possibly with light marks & scuffs, labels may have a name or mark on them, possible light contact wear to the label, covers may have a small split but not large or gaping, edge wear on cover may show more than slight, may be a mark on cover

VG = Very Good
only records I will list with this grade would be rather rare or of higher book value, meant to sell as a filler until a better record comes along, vinyl may have feel-able marks but should play through without skipping, pops or clicks may be louder than usual, may have marks or wear on the label, cover may have open splits, wear on print, may have marks or other very apparent defects (all will be stated in description either by type or in the pictures)
