All used albums are graded visually using the scale below.  We try our best to grade conservatively, but accidents do happen and the trusty post office is not always as gentle with our albums as would prefer.  If something arrives that is not right, please do not hesitate to contact us! 

M = We are pretty picky and never use a Mint rating because you can always find something...

NM = Near Mint is generally reserved for the near pristine.  Most of these albums will have lived a privileged life typically minimally played and stored in an anti-static inner sleeve.

VG+ = We try to stock excellent items so a lot of our items will fall into this category because they have just a few relatively minor flaws. Many of these albums also were stored in anti-static inner sleeves, but maybe they were played more.  Or these albums could be in paper sleeves, but show signs of less use.  VG+ will not have scratches deep enough to cause skips.

VG = Our Very Good items are very playable but will typically have some light background noise from being stored in paper sleeves or maybe a very small rough spot that could cause a skip.  We try our best to identify whether there are any scratches that could cause skips, but for the most part, these are just albums that have paper sleeve type marks and scratches.

G = We generally will not sell vinyl that is just Good unless it is rare even in this condition.  These albums will have scratches and multiple skips. These show lots of signs of use and probably improper storage.

P = We don't sell JUNK that will not play!!!
