I got this new at retail back in 1996. It looks like I only played the first disk as the second one was still on the generic paper sleeve. I payed it and this has an amazing intimacy to the vocals with all the nuance and inflections intact. There may be a cleaner copy out there but this is really nice, played a couple of times.

Visual grades are useless with these clear vinyl records as they all seem to look NM. Flatness is good. Side B a bit off centre, side D very slightly off centre. Close listening reveals some minor surface noise. A and B had some repeating ticks, C and D sounded pretty clean. This is probably in the same condition as when I opened it new. Disc one plays VG, disc two plays EX on my equipment.

Cover and printed inner sleeve are EX. Very close to MN. No splits or ring wear but maybe a tiny bit corner wear. Original shrink is intact.

Play grades are subjective and vary with playback equipment.Play grade rig was Well Tempered Turntable with Van Den Hul MC One cartridge. This needle fits the groove almost perfectly and will read anything there, including noise.

I usually don't grade anything NM because even most new records I've opened have some minor problems if you look close enough.

I have attempted to grade this record to Goldmine standards under a bare 100 watt bulb and inspected for centring and warps on a turntable. If you feel I have over graded, made an error in the description or the record arrives damaged please contact me within 48 hours of receipt for a full refund upon return of record, including all actual postage costs. I use EX instead of VG++.

I ship in an over-sized box with foam inserts for safety. Please save this packaging to ship any returns in.
