The vinyl album is personally signed on the rear cover by all four of the original Stranglers line up: Hugh Cornwall, Dave Greenfield, Jet Black and Jean-Jacques Brunel. This is a rare opportunity to get this album signed by all four, especially as Hugh Cornwall is no longer with us. The vinyl is in good condition with no visible scratches or marks. The cover is slightly worn in the corners and the picture sleeve is slightly fraid at the bottom edge. The vinyl itself is in a Decca sleeve.
My late brother worked for both BBC and commercial radio stations in the East Midlands from 1980 until 2013 presenting various music shows, mostly folk and rock. During this period he interviewed many bands and artists and usually had them to sign copies of the albums they were promoting. I will be listing quite a few of these over the coming months, as there are original signed albums by artists ranging from The Ramones to Bryan Ferry and Sandy Denny.
I cannot supply a certificate of authenticity for the signatures, but I know that he interviewed The Stranglers for Radio Trent before a gig at the Royal Concert Hall Nottingham in the early 1980s. I was with him and I think it was the 'Mad Hatters' tour?
