Original 1950s record made of roentgen film with ribs image attached to paper base for rigidity.
Record plays ok but this copy has low recording level so music (song in Russian, female vocal - I don't know neither song nor performer) is getting almost inaudible to the middle of the record, then getting more loud again.
So it is rather for display purpose.
It is either defect of manufacturing or this copy was a test copy to set recording level, I don't know.
Shipping (registered airmail) is $15 anywhere in the world including USA.
Records like this have been distributed in S0VIET UNI0N by underground manufacturers since late 1940s untill 1960s to fillĀ gaps in officially allowed repertoir.
Among artists reproduced on these records were prohibited emigrant artists, underground criminal folklore songs, then prohibited in S0VIET UNI0N jazz, later rock-n-roll, rock music.
In late 1950s most of people involved into this business were caught and jailed but many of them returned to their underground busines after their release some years later.
Some of the most active underground buisnesmen got 2-3 prison terms during 1950s-1960s.
These records are intended to be played with 1950s style hardweight tonearms with monophonic pieso cartridge.
Note that they extremely sensitive to water as any photo film. Don't try to clean them.
