Up for grabs is the 1st pressing of The Band's first album. Music From The Big Pink is a legendary album. Bob Dylan wrote three of the songs and also provided the LP cover art work. This was The Band's first effort and it led to the basement tapes with Bob Dylan. Rolling Stone magazine ranked Music from the Big Pink number 34 out of the 500 greatest albums of all time. This particular LP is in great shape. It is the original rainbow label from Capitol Records recorded in 1968. The dead wax has A3 hand scratched on each side. This record has some minimal hairline scratches and small amount of light paper scuffs on each side. These minor blemishes should have no affect on audio playback. The album gatefold cover is in excellent shape. The album cover has a very slight amount of corner wear and a very small amount of shelf wear. The shelf wear is only noticeable on the back. The album cover is in outstanding shape for it's age! This record has been cleaned and it is is ready for playing or storage. Please feel free to ask any questions. I do not ship outside of the United States. I can combine shipping for multiple auction wins. Bid with confidence!
