A great opportunity to buy an original copy of Kate Bush's VINYL LP called "The Red Shoes".
This is a
U.K. FIRST PRESSING released in 1993 on the EMI label (EMD 1047) and has 12 tracks (see photos for track listings).
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- EMD 1047 A-1-1-1 (side one) and EMD 1047 B-1-1-1 (side two).
The vinyl is in a lovely, clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition. I
always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are a few
light surface marks noticeable, but nothing serious. I have played the whole of
both sides and they play fine and sound great. As is typical of thin 1990's vinyl pressings, there are some static clicks evident in random places, more noticeable between the tracks, but this is not in any way significant and does not spoil the overall sound quality.
The labels are clean and free from any writing or major defects. There are just one or two faint spindle marks evident when tilted towards the light.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The record
is housed within a picture inner sleeve in an EXCELLENT condition.
The picture cover is in a GOOD condition.The top and bottom edges have some shelf wear noticeable, more so on the top edge (see photo). The text on the spine is clearly readable (see photo). There are signs of a price sticker having been on the front in the top corner. These appear to be the only blemishes on what is otherwise a very respectable cover.
This is a highly collectable and rare Kate Bush vinyl LP and
should be of interest to avid collectors.
