Live Wax Grading Guidelines
---------------------------
We adhere to Goldmine grading standards. We are conservative in our grading: if in doubt, we err on the side of caution and apply the lower grade. We intend for our customers to be delighted more often than not, and never less than satisfied.

Grades
------
Mint (M): Pristine. Looks as if it just came off the manufacturing line.
Near Mint (NM): Looks as if it just came from a store and was opened for the first time. All original pieces are present.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows slight signs of wear. Light scuffs or scratches may be present, but they don't affect playback.
Very Good (VG): Obvious wear and handling, including visible groove wear, surface noise, audible scratches, ring wear and small seam splits.

**********
(we will generally not offer any records in less than VG condition, unless of such importance that any copy is to be prized)
Very Good Minus (VG-): Significant wear and handling, including significant surface noise, groove wear, ring wear, damaged or defaced labels or covers and seam splits.
Fair (F): Beat, trashed and dull. Won't play through; areas that do play contain noticeable scratches and surface noise. Records may be missing sleeves or covers.

*We include a Diskeeper audiophile sleeve with every record we sell.
