BEATLES Let It Be box with tray and book but NO RECORD.  Apple UK 1969.

Original owner must have decided to keep the record.  This well illustrated glossy book and outer packaging came with the first release.  The book still calls the project Get Back.

Cover VG+.  A little creasing, general handling wear.  Back has some rubbing - light in photo shows this clearly (in normal room light it looks better).  Tray has some light creasing to corners from handling.  Crease to top of one spine (see photo).

Book is clean with some minor flaws - VG+.  As usual with this book the pages can come loose the more you look at it.  Couldn't The Beatles get better?  Spine has detached and been neatly reglued - looks fine.  Some lamination lift along front spine edge, otherwise cover has only light handling, retains glossy black.  Some early pages have light markings from a crease and from where I assume they have become a bit sticky at some point.  When separated a little colour print has come off in patches.  See the photo of Ringo -  couple of light patches near his eyes and at very bottom of page; thin crease line runs from top of pages down to near eyes.  These flaws only affect a section of the beginning of the book.

Rare item.

grading

Grading done visually and by playing a few sections. Any scratches tested.

MINT means new. If the record appears almost unplayed I use NEAR MINT. This is not a common grading.

EXCELLENT means played but very well cared for, no scratches. Cover may have very light wear. A quality used record!

VG+ means definitely used but without any major deterioration in sound quality, may have some light surface wear, surface marks or small, light scratches. These will be detailed in my description. Cover has some wear, but no major creases or seam splits.  Still a good record!

VG means played to the point of developing surface wear, and/or some deeper scratches. These will be detailed. Cover displays general wear.

Anything less will be described and not given a grading.
