   GREAT CCR 45 w/PICTURE SLEEVE:

TRAVELIN' BAND/WHO'LL STOP THE RAIN (Fantasy 637 1st pressing w/PICTURE SLEEVE, 1970):

 CLEAN M- GEM 45 & PICTURE SLEEVE!

One of Creedence's five #2 hits, Travelin' Band was paired with Who'll Stop The Rain, making yet another two-sided smash for John, Tom, Stu, and Doug.

You'll love the quality of this CLEAN M- GEM 1st pressing.  Both 45 and picture sleeve look almost new almost 50 years later; open up The Vault!

Creedence Clearwater Revival is widely acknowledged as an American rock 'n' roll band of the 1st rank; a remarkable assessment considering their relatively short recording career.  They released 12 singles and 7 LPs on Fantasy Records in the five years from 1968 to 1972.  They never had a chart-topper, but scored five #2 hits; and from Proud Mary to Have You Ever Seen The Rain, every one of their singles made the top 10.  By the end of their run they were a three-piece; John Fogerty's brother Tom (1941-1990), the original lead singer/manager of the band (as Tommy Fogerty and The Blue Velvets) decided to go solo in 1971.  After the prophetically-titled 1972 single Someday Never Comes stalled at #25, John decided to disband CCR.  It was a fateful decision; he wouldn't reach the top ten again for 12 long years.  Fogerty's solo resurgence began in earnest with the 1984 LP Centerfield (hailed as a classic), and he's been chooglin' for three decades since.
